About the role

  • PPG's Aerospace Business is hiring an Industrial Engineer in Grand Prairie, Texas.
  • Programming and troubleshooting PLC's as a secondary function, Allen Bradely primarily.
  • You will write the original language, operate the PLC codes, and troubleshoot if and when any problems arise.

Responsibilities

  • Develop RFQs, SOW, and directly manage vendors and contractors to coordinate equipment installation

Nice to have

  • Model creation and virtual testing, standardization of methodology and records across the business
  • PLC code creation and troubleshooting, and instrumentation integration across the business unit
  • Responsible for project documentation, including technical writing
  • Select and install hardware and software as needed
  • Only US Citizens, Green Card holders, political asylees, or refugees are eligible to apply
  • Bachelor's Degree in Software / Manufacturing Engineering preferred
  • 4+ years of Modeling experience required
  • PLC interfacing, primarily Allen Bradley
