Learn more at www.lf.co Description As the senior technical resource on the maintenance team, the Maintenance Technician III carries full accountability for maintenance program integrity across all shifts.

Lead diagnosis and repair of complex furnace system failures including electrical, thermocouple, atmosphere control, and high-temperature mechanical components
Develop and maintain calibration schedules, perform calibrations, audit documentation, and ensure traceability across all process equipment
Maintain hazardous waste compliance program.
Perform advanced electrical troubleshooting and repair including panel level work, VFDs, PLCs, 3-phase systems, and control system modifications up to 480V
Maintain training records and serve as a Qualified Trainer for the team
Support engineering with facility infrastructure modifications
Own the resolution of equipment specific issues affecting the printing process including compressed air systems, environmental controls, and production support infrastructure
Help lead root cause investigations for recurring failures, document findings in CMMS, assign corrective actions, and verify effectiveness to prevent recurrence
Advanced knowledge of compressed air systems including system design, leak detection, efficiency analysis, and complete overhauls

High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree in engineering technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field is strongly preferred
Completion of a state-accredited journeyman or technical school program, or equivalent formal training with demonstrated field proficiency, strongly preferred

Licensed Electrician or equivalent formal electrical certification
PLC programming or advanced controls troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent)
Exposure to additive manufacturing or similar precision production technology
Experience managing or directing outside service vendors and contractors
Forklift, crane, or aerial lift operator certification
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
Ability to work in varied conditions including heat, noise, and exposure to chemicals or airborne particulates
Ability to work with appropriate training, certification, and PPE

Familiarity with instrument calibration, NIST traceability documentation, calibration scheduling, and recordkeeping
Ability to read and modify schematics, work at the panel level, troubleshoot PLCs and VFDs, and diagnose 3-phase systems
Strong CMMS proficiency including PM task creation, work order management, failure code analysis, and maintenance reporting
