Requirements

  • Proficient at math and computer skills: ability to calculate fractions, dimensions and tolerances according to customer and production specifications.

Nice to have

  • You might be required on occasion to do spot MIG or TIG welding as well.
  • The Robotic Welding Operator will review drawings and specifications to accurately weld parts and metal components.
  • Load, set-up and operate robotic welding equipment.
  • Envision completed part in 3D in order to execute planned welds using control software through the use of a teach pendant.
  • Examine welds and unload parts to ensure that they meet standards and specifications to verify product quality.
  • Use hand-welding equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products that are not capable of being welded by the robotic welder.
  • Accurately read and use tape measures and verify product quality by using inspection and measuring equipment (gages, micrometers, rulers, etc.).
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Skills

  • ability to calculate fractions, dimensions and tolerances according to customer and production specifications.
  • Proficient at using quality inspection equipment (gages, micrometers, rulers), GD & T preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation

  • $21k-$50k
