About the role

  • We are seeking experienced and passionate Adjunct Instructors to join Stepful's bench of virtual educators supporting the 16-week virtual and synchronous didactic portion of our Surgical Technologist program.
  • This role is ideal for instructors who are interested in supporting existing cohorts as substitute instructors when coverage is needed, while also being considered for future cohort teaching opportunities as new classes launch.
  • This is a fully remote, part-time, 1099 contract role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and prepare and plan for future modules, as needed
  • Deliver clear, engaging instruction aligned to Stepful's standardized curriculum
  • Support students in understanding Sterile Processing concepts across CRCST exam domains
  • Document student progress, attendance, and performance in Stepful systems

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a certified Surgical Technologist in a clinical setting
  • Experience teaching, training, tutoring, or instructing students or staff
  • Ability to work 10 hours per week per class, Monday

Nice to have

  • You have experience teaching Surgical Technology or NCCT exam preparation
  • You have experience supporting diverse, underserved, or non-traditional student populations

Compensation

  • $30k-$35k
