About the role

  • In this role, you will advise on contract negotiations, commercial transactions, regulatory compliance matters, and legal risk management while partnering with business, finance, HR, compliance, and other functions.
  • You will also contribute to business continuity through practical legal guidance, training, and collaboration across functions while expanding your experience in commercial law, regulatory compliance, international business law, and cross-border transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and support on business operations, contract negotiations, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance matters.
  • Identify legal risks and develop mitigation strategies to reduce potential exposure and support business continuity.
  • Manage external legal counsel on complex matters while supporting cost-effective outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver legal training on legal topics and compliance requirements.
  • Support litigation and dispute resolution activities, including legal research and document preparation.
  • Collaborate with business units, finance, HR, compliance, and other functions on legal and commercial matters.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively while working independently and within a team environment.

Requirements

  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations and advise the business on impacts and required adjustments.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Proficiency in English.
