About the role
- A qualified Diesel Mechanic /Technician will be able to diagnose, provide estimates, and repairs on highly complex electrical and mechanical systems, on class eight tractors.
- Uses technical publications and other internet-based manuals, technical guides, or check sheets.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair & maintain Class 8 tractors and trailers by analyzing diagnostic test results (computerized, sound, visual, feel, smell, etc.)
- Perform Federal DOT inspections as well as preventative maintenance
- Perform light and heavy-duty repairs
- Maintain company owned tools
- Maintain company owned service trucks
- Must provide and maintain personal tools and storage boxes

- (Preferred) Computerized diagnostic skills
