About the role

  • The selected candidate will be expected to publish high-impact research in top-tier Management and/or Entrepreneurship journals.
  • New hires typically teach an undergraduate course in their respective field (OB/HR or Entrepreneurship) in their first years (usually a single prep) and can later teach courses in the MBA or PhD programs.
  • This full-time faculty position is on campus and in person.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to produce strong scholarly research.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduates.

Nice to have

  • A record of publications in high-quality journals and papers presented at major conferences.
  • Significant research in progress targeted at top Management or Entrepreneurship journals.
  • A record of high-quality teaching in the areas of Organizational Behavior/Human Resources or Entrepreneurship.
  • Evidence of engagement with and service to the profession and field.
  • Department/Program & College Description:
  • The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship is a supportive and productive group of 40+ faculty members (20 tenure-track and 22 term), currently chaired by Chad Murphy.
  • The department also offers a Masters in Entrepreneurship and PhD programs in Management as well as Entrepreneurship.
  • The Ivy College of Business was established in 1984.
