About the role

Civ Robotics' R&D department is seeking a System Integration Engineer to join the system integration team to tackle hardware and software integration of various subsystems, including microcontrollers (MCUs), sensors, and communication modules.

Develop, configure, and optimize firmware and drivers for MCUs and sensors (IMU, LiDAR, GPS, cameras, etc.).
Execute system-level tests to validate hardware/software integration and ensure performance targets are met.
Document integration processes, test plans, and results.
You will collaborate with cross-functional team members to develop, test, and optimize our autonomous systems.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.

Basic Linux CLI experience Hands-on experience with sensor integration (IMUs, cameras, LiDARs, GPS).
Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) Familiarity with communication protocols: SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, and wireless.
Knowledge of C/C++ and Python.
Tools: Proficiency with development tools like Git, JIRA, and hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Experience in autonomous vehicle development or industrial robotics (plus).
