About the role

We are searching for a Project Cost Controller for a current vacancy on our team in Ottawa, Ontario Canada.
This position requires direct or indirect access to hardware, software or technical information controlled under the Canadian Export Control List and/or the US the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
Responsible for cost control and ensures that it is in conformance with company's policy.

To provide financial support to the project(s) team(s).
To represent Finance within the PMO organization and support Project Management for economical, finance and administrative tasks.
To compile Thales accounting & internal control process and deliver on time with reliable and documented information and reports.
Develop and prepares project budget and contract changes.

1-3 years of experience in large multi-national or national organizations, in the Defense & Security sector or previous experience in project cost controlling
Experience working on projects and knowledge of basic project management and the project lifecycle.
Knowledge and previous experience working with different business systems and tools (i.e. SAP, Primavera and Excel)

The reference Total Target Compensation (TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between Total Target Cash (TTC) $56, 000 – $75,000 - $85,000 CAD Annual.
