About the role

  • Distribution Center Manager - East Description - Role Summary This position will be full-time onsite in Hagerstown, MD.
  • The Distribution Center Manager - East serves as a strategic and operational leader within our east coast distribution center, focusing on process optimization, project management, and technical excellence.
  • This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement in logistics operations, implementing best practices, and supporting key business initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the distribution center associates and 3PL partners.
  • Scope, design, and lead high-impact projects from concept through stabilization, ensuring alignment with cost, service, and environmental goals
  • build business cases and present recommendations to senior leadership in Operations, IT, Finance, and Sustainability
  • Partner with the 3PL WMS team to define operational requirements, test new functionality, and validate system performance
  • Develop metrics dashboards, SOPs, and best practice playbooks, train people leaders and associates on new standards
  • Conduct root-cause analyses for systemic service or quality issues, drive corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with People Managers
  • Lead HP's continuous-improvement roadmap using Lean/Six Sigma, value-stream mapping, and digital-twin modelling
  • Analyse end-to-end supply-chain data; build business cases and present recommendations to senior leadership in Operations, IT, Finance, and Sustainability
  • Partner with the 3PL WMS team to define operational requirements, test new functionality, and validate system performance; escalate issues and track resolution
  • Lead HP's continuous-improvement roadmap using Lean/Six Sigma, value-stream mapping, and digital-twin modelling; track ROI and sustainment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, or related discipline or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years job-related experience and 5+years managing high preforming teams.
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL etc.

Nice to have

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, or comparable certification
  • Hands-on experience implementing DC automation or robotics solutions

Compensation

  • The pay range for this role is $93,400 to $143,800 USD annually with additional
