About the role

  • The Site Construction Quality Specialist ensures the documentation of quality assurance and quality control for project installations at a designated active construction site.

Responsibilities

  • Provides quality oversight on assigned construction project(s). Ensures Construction Managers implement Beta's Quality Assurance Program, supports them in resolving quality issues, and performs inspections to verify compliance.
  • Supports Project Managers or Construction Managers in resolving site-specific construction issues.
  • Assists Project Managers and Construction Managers in final inspections and development of subcontractor punch lists. Supports project close-out, final work items, and demobilization.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by the Manager of Construction Quality or Director.

Requirements

  • Reviews and approves third-party quality certifications for personnel performing work on the project site, as required.
  • Operates a company vehicle as required for the position and must maintain a clean driving record.

Nice to have

  • Five or more years of industrial or commercial construction related experience preferred or Bachelor's Degree in Construction or Engineering Technician curriculum.
  • Knowledge of general civil, structural, mechanical and electrical industries is preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PDF editor
  • This position requires work to be completed in the field.
