Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will lead the technical transformation of legacy Oracle BI and ODI logic into modern, performant Snowflake data models.
  • Document and understand current data flows, dependencies, and legacy data structures
  • Design Snowflake-optimized data models and ELT patterns that improve performance and scalability
  • Write performance-aware SQL and implement ELT transformations within Snowflake
  • Design conformed and curated data objects to support analytics and reporting needs
  • Build modular, testable transformation pipelines using DBT or approved transformation tools
  • Manage Snowflake development environments, including roles, access control, and governance for development work
  • Implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency during migration
  • Collaborate closely with QA and review teams to validate transformation logic and performance outcomes
