About the role

  • The Project Manager will report to the Senior Project Manager - New Development at Honest Networks in our Construction department.
  • They will be responsible for expanding Honest's Gigabit Internet Network into new development apartment complexes in NYC and occasionally in NJ, CT and/or PA.
  • This role is on-site and requires consistent engagement at both new development construction sites in NYC and our warehouse in Lyndhurst, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure successful execution against construction metrics (time to deploy, minimal network downtime, man hours per job, etc.) and reporting tools necessary for monitoring progress against company build objectives.
  • Create build plans/schematics for Field Technicians teams to follow.
  • This person should have at least 1 year of experience in telecommunications, managing multiple teams of telecommunications technicians building internet networks in challenging environments (urban commercial and apartments/MDU)
  • Develop site survey documentation including pathway sketches (ISP/OSP), drawings, photos, and cost estimates
  • Very good understanding of building construction, including identifying PT floors, riser vs plenum environments

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in design/drawing software-CAD, Visio, or similar tools (even advanced PowerPoint/graphic design skills are valuable)

Nice to have

  • Experience with telecommunications engineering-knowledge of how to splice fiber, build and terminate MDF's and IDF's, experience working with fixed wireless and fiber preferred.
  • ISP/telecommunications experience preferred
  • OSHA 30/40 strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of fixed wireless radios, including millimeter wave (e.g. Siklu, Bridgewave, etc.), preferred
  • Experience using project management software (e.g. Asana, Monday.com ) is preferred

  • Attractive salary ($75-100k) based on level of capabilities and experience
