About the role
- This vacancy is for an Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic in the Office of Facilities and Environmental Quality within the Department of Commerce.
- Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Qualification Standard Handbook X-118C and evaluated under OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards.

- Ability To Do the Work of the Position Without More Than Normal Supervision.
- AND A Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Refrigerant Certification (Type I, II, III, or Universal) is required upon hire or within one year of employment.
- Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations e.g., professional
- knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
Nice to have
- A Stationary Engineers license or equivalent is highly preferred.
