About the role
- We are currently seeking a Measurement Manager to join our Canada Gas Operations - Wood Buffalo team, based in Fort McMurray, AB.
- Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager for Northern Alberta, Canada Gas Operations, this position is primarily responsible for overseeing the safe, compliant, reliable operations and maintenance of TC Energy's Measurement assets in the Wood Buffalo region.
- Provide leadership to continuously improve your teams' business performance in terms of health, safety and environment, regulatory compliance, reliability and productivity
Responsibilities
- Have and maintain a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract (record) for review
- Understand and manage facility risks, reliability and performance
- Implement Canada Gas Operations strategies and understand Commercial impacts
- Effectively manage all resources including people, finances, materials and time to ensure maximum efficiency in planning, forecasting, and implementation
- Develop and foster an environment which actively enables and encourages employee innovation, continuous improvement, and commitment to operational performance
- Manage Operations and Maintenance contracts, understand Commercial Agreements and Asset Management Plans
- Manage and coordinate emergency response with a requirement to be on-call to respond to emergency situations
- Build a strong, competent, proactive and engaged team

- Actively participate in the development of goals and objectives from Lines of Business (LOB) to Area level and lead the efforts to achieve these goals in the Area
Requirements
- 10 years of relevant work experience
- An excellent track record of development and execution of plans
- Experience with conflict resolution and problem-solving tools and processes
- Experience in effective resource allocation and utilization in the financial, people and procurement areas
Nice to have
- Related experience preferably in a managerial or leadership type setting
- Knowledge of TC Energy's Leadership competencies and a commitment to career development
