This role works closely with the Master Scheduler and operations teams to ensure jobs are released accurately, completely, and in alignment with production priorities.

Responsibilities

Own schedule of all Warranties and Expedites.
Develop and maintain traveler documentation to ensure accurate and complete manufacturing instructions for production teams.
Support the Master Scheduler by coordinating timely and accurate release of jobs to the production floor. Communicate and flag any documentation deviations or discrepancies.
Maintain accurate production data within ERP systems, including work orders, routings, BOMs, and scheduling information.

Production Planner I will support production scheduling and operational execution through the creation, release, and maintenance of accurate work orders and traveler documentation.

Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production documentation.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively through speaking and hearing.
This role is physically active and requires the ability to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the workday.
Ensure work orders are released with all required materials, documentation, and operational details to support efficient execution.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Physical demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively through speaking and hearing. This role is physically active and requires the ability to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the workday.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Specific visual abilities required for this position include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice to have

Associate degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing, operations, production control, or related field preferred.
Experience working in manufacturing or production environments preferred.
Experience with ERP, MES, or MRP systems (NetSuite preferred).
