Responsibilities

  • Manage program compliance with internal policies, State regulations, and accrediting bodies.
  • Provide constructive feedback and professional development support.
  • Develop divisional course schedules and make faculty assignments in coordination with administrative leadership.
  • Manage enrollment, retention, completion, and transfer/job placement outcomes.
  • Manage the unit budget and provide input into budget planning.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution in Criminal Justice, Fire Science or related field.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to use data in decision making.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to work with full and part-time faculty from diverse backgrounds and with various experience levels.
  • Ability to function effectively with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to be well organized and demonstrate effective time management, flexibility, and creativity.
  • Ability to be an effective decision maker and creative problem solver.
  • This position requires an ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, reach up, stoop, and carry items occasionally more than twenty-five (25) pounds.

Compensation

  • $102,388.82 | All salary calculations start at the minimum salary and will be based on the candidate's education and experience | Open until filled.

  • Under administrative guidelines, this position provides strategic support to the School of Public Service Education and works in close collaboration with the Executive Dean.
  • Supervise all instructional activities to ensure academic integrity and student learning outcomes.
  • Assist faculty in developing, assessing, and evaluating program and student learning outcomes.
