About the role

  • The company's first reactor, Kaleidos, is a 1-megawatt, fail-safe microreactor that can be transported anywhere power is needed and run for up to 5 years without refueling.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general building maintenance and repair work throughout
  • Complete preventive maintenance activities on building systems and
  • Perform basic plumbing repairs including faucets, toilets, valves, drains,
  • Perform basic HVAC maintenance such as filter changes, troubleshooting
  • Support office moves, workstation reconfigurations, and space planning
  • Perform painting, patching, drywall repairs, and finish work.
  • Maintain parking lots, sidewalks, loading areas, exterior grounds, and
  • Support janitorial oversight and facility cleanliness initiatives.
  • Maintain maintenance tools, shop organization, and inventory.
  • Radiant is an El Segundo, CA-based startup building the world's first mass-produced, portable nuclear microreactors.

Requirements

  • Experience working alongside contractors and construction teams.
  • Forklift, scissor lift, or boom lift experience.
  • Experience using CMMS or maintenance management software.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience working in a startup environment.
  • Basic electrical and HVAC troubleshooting experience.

Skills

  • 3+ years of commercial facilities maintenance, building maintenance,
  • property maintenance, or handyman experience.
  • Experience performing a wide variety of maintenance and repair work.
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, hardware, and
  • general building systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders, lifts, and rooftops as
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Desired Qualifications &
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, aerospace, laboratory, semiconductor, industrial, or technology facilities.
