About the role

  • The Specialist I Accountant is responsible for supporting the finance and accounting department by performing day-to-day accounting tasks.
  • This role involves maintaining financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling bank statements, assisting in month-end and year-end closings, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • The Specialist I Accountant works closely with other accounting staff and departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and contributes to the overall efficiency and accuracy of the organization's financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Fluent in English; strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Strong business acumen with ability to influence cross-functionally.
  • Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Software (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Analytical mindset and performance orientation.
  • Strong communication skills
