About the role
- As a After Hours Carrier Sales Representative II, you are a key contributor to Uber Freight's business by generating and maintaining carrier relationships.
- Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday 2:00pm-10:00pm CST
- Ensure customer satisfaction and extremely high service levels where freight is picked up and delivered on time using safe, reliable carriers
Responsibilities
- Establish relationships, negotiate, and develop carriers regularly via phone and email in order to develop core and dedicated carriers specific to expedite freight.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2+ years of professional experience in a sales/cold call setting or related experience
- Track and trace experience in a logistics environment
- Acquire knowledge of freight network/lanes- know what internal freight lanes we run and find carriers that match these lanes
Nice to have
- Related experience in transportation and/or logistics
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
