Responsibilities

  • Maintain productivity of 75% based on caseload.
  • Perform oral-motor assessment and identify oral motor pathology and language disorders and provide therapy treatment as indicated.
  • Develop and maintain rapport with all family members assigned to caseload

Requirements

  • Must have a strong base of knowledge in both typical developmental patterns of infants and toddlers and atypical development due to disabilities or risk factors
  • Ability to utilize critical thinking skills in decision making situations and to demonstrate independent judgment
  • Ability to accept supervision and work cooperatively as a team member with colleagues, clients, and families
  • The SLP should possess a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and be licensed to practice in California.
  • Required Knowledge and Skills
  • The SLP must have knowledge/skills in the following areas:
  • Understanding and ability to work within team and family dynamics
  • Maintain appropriate treatment records and documentation as required.

Nice to have

  • 1+ years of related experience working with children or people with disabilities preferred.

Compensation

  • $120,000.00/year commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Limited evening/weekend requirements
  • Built-in documentation time
  • Option for hybrid assessment documentation (home + remote)
  • The SLP provides 1:1 communication assessment and intervention to infants and toddlers in a home and/or clinic-based setting.
