About the role
- The RRT will assess patients' respiratory conditions, recognize adverse effects of treatments, and take appropriate corrective actions.
- This role may also involve outpatient testing, pulmonology clinic, participation in patient education, working with a team, equipment evaluation, and repair.
Requirements
- Apply knowledge of isolation techniques, anatomy, and vital signs measurement (e.g., blood pressure, pulse, respirations).
- Evaluate and repair respiratory therapy equipment as required.
- o RT/CRT or current MO license in Respiratory Care required. o BLS upon hire or within 30 days. o ACLS required within 6 months of hire. o PALS required within 6 months of hire.
Nice to have
- Must be able to lift, move, or support patients and equipment as needed.
- Manual dexterity for operating respiratory care equipment.
