About the role
- The Commercial Insurance Agent is responsible for selling and servicing insurance policies to individuals and businesses.
- This role involves assessing client needs, providing insurance advice, recommending appropriate products, and ensuring that clients are properly protected against risks while insurance carriers can transparently underwrite risks.
- The agent must demonstrate strong sales skills to continuously meet goals month over month.
Responsibilities
- Sales and Business Development: Actively pursue new clients through referrals, cold calling, networking, and lead generation efforts.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, using scalable and touchless strategies like email campaigns.
- InsurePro will pay for and support all training and licensing for new hires.
- Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly.
Requirements
- Experience Proven background in sales is required.
Nice to have
- Insurance experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience managing commercial insurance products (property, liability, workers' compensation, specialty lines) is a strong plus.
- Bilingual preferred, not required.
