About the role
- Position Overview The Digital Press Operator is responsible for all aspects of operating large format digital printing equipment to Imagine production and quality standards.
- Daily activity will include material handling and finishing.
Responsibilities
- Removes all ink build up or tape residue from print bed or cleaning stations.
Requirements
- Frequent walking and standing Chemicals: Will work with non-harsh chemicals that safety gloves and safety glasses are required for a small amount of time each day.
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally and will need team lifts from time to time.

Skills
- Ensures prints are free from defects such as streaks, fingerprints, dirt, ink blotches and scratches.
- Fills out appropriate job ticket paperwork accurately.
- Performs regularly scheduled maintenance procedures on equipment.
- Gains advanced equipment knowledge in order to troubleshoot equipment related problems.
- Communicates and comprehends simple instructions to and from other shifts or departments.
- Is aware of overall department workload and assists in other areas of the department during peak times while keeping the press productive.
- Wipes down outside of printers.
