About the role

  • As a member of Voya's Retirement RFP Team, the RFP Specialist is responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering high-quality Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and consultant questionnaire responses.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored, high-quality proposals that clearly address client requirements and articulate Voya's value to win new business.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional SMEs and business teams to gather insights, ensure alignment, and strengthen proposal outcomes.
  • Customer Focused: Passionate drive to delight our customers and offer unique solutions that deliver on their expectations.
  • Team Mentality: Partnering effectively to drive our culture and execute on our common goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of RFP writing experience

Skills

  • Communicate differentiated value propositions tailored to client and prospect needs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development and adoption of best practices.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to other RFP Specialists, as applicable.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Utilize proposal automation platforms and tools to streamline workflows, improve response accuracy, and enhance efficiency.
