Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable application platform solutions that power Guidewire's cloud offerings.
  • Drive the adoption of AI, and cloud capabilities, ensuring operational excellence and measurable customer value.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to launch new products, enhance platform reliability, and improve service compliance and security.
  • Manage projects that accelerate the delivery of transformative features, including GenAI integration and advanced automation.
  • Support the professional growth of your team through coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated Java mastery and strong object-oriented design skills.
  • Ability to drive operational excellence and deliver measurable outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • In your first six months, you'll lead the Application Platform team to deliver key platform enhancements, drive the integration of GenAI features, and improve operational metrics such as reliability and compliance.
  • Your leadership will directly support Guidewire's mission to deliver secure, innovative, and customer-centric solutions, ensuring our platform remains the trusted choice for global insurers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with AI/ML integration, cloud-native architectures, and large-scale platform operations.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.

  • Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors.

Compensation

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $173,000 - $259,000.
