About the role
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Regulatory Affairs Specialist to support regulatory compliance activities across the United States and Canada.
- This role will help ensure that products, labeling, and technical documentation comply with applicable regulatory requirements while supporting business growth and innovation initiatives.
- The ideal candidate has experience in the food or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, strong knowledge of North American regulatory frameworks, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Review and support compliance of product formulations, labeling, packaging, and marketing claims in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Partner with R&D, Marketing, Quality, and Operations teams during new product development and portfolio maintenance activities.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain technical and regulatory documentation for internal and external requirements.
- Support interactions with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and external consultants as needed.
- Conduct regulatory research and competitive benchmarking to support business initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the food or CPG industry.
- Working knowledge of U.S. and Canadian food regulations, including labeling and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Additional Requirements:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
