About the role

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Regulatory Affairs Specialist to support regulatory compliance activities across the United States and Canada.
  • This role will help ensure that products, labeling, and technical documentation comply with applicable regulatory requirements while supporting business growth and innovation initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate has experience in the food or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, strong knowledge of North American regulatory frameworks, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Review and support compliance of product formulations, labeling, packaging, and marketing claims in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Partner with R&D, Marketing, Quality, and Operations teams during new product development and portfolio maintenance activities.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain technical and regulatory documentation for internal and external requirements.
  • Support interactions with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and external consultants as needed.
  • Conduct regulatory research and competitive benchmarking to support business initiatives.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the food or CPG industry.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. and Canadian food regulations, including labeling and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
