  • PayPal, Inc. seeks Sr Software Engineer in San Jose, CA
  • Write automation software testing scripts using programming languages such as Java, Junit, Selenium, Perl, Python, and other internal Java-based automation frameworks for Frontend, SOA/Services, and messaging components.

Responsibilities

  • Job Duties: Design and implement software applications, features, and reliable, scalable solutions for backend and frontend systems.
  • Build user-friendly interfaces with React, Typescript, and Chakra UI on the front end.
  • Maintain automation workflows and Cl/CD pipelines using AWS CDK, ensuring seamless deployments.
  • Develop automated tests and deliver high-quality software code to production within a short development cycle in the continuous integration and delivery environment.
  • Develop intuitive user interfaces with React, Typescript, and Chakra UI.

Requirements

  • One year of experience required in each of the following:

  • The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring.
  • Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related field plus one year of experience in the job offered or a related field.

Skills

  • Use Node.js and GraphQL on the backend to integrate AWS services like SQS, Lambda, and DocumentDB.
  • Work with AWS services and infrastructure-as-code tools like AWS CDK to deploy event-driven systems.

Compensation

  • $149,365.00-198,500.00 per annum.
  • Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
