About the role

  • The Beauty Advisor (Retail Store Associate) serves as a key point of contact for customers and plays an essential role in delivering a positive and engaging shopping experience.
  • This position focuses on customer service, product knowledge, and supporting store operations.
  • Employment is at-will, and duties and responsibilities may change based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Support inventory counts and other operational tasks as needed
  • Maintain situational awareness on the sales floor to support store safety and loss prevention
  • Collaborate with management on marketing initiatives, including in-store promotions and social media support
  • Continuously develop and maintain up-to-date product knowledge

Nice to have

  • 1+ years of retail experience (beauty industry experience preferred)
  • Bilingual in any language, especially Korean or Spanish, is a plus but not required
  • With over 3,000 products across 100+ brands and distribution in more than 30 countries, StyleKorean continues to expand its presence in the K-Beauty industry.
  • Moida is the direct retail store owned and operated by StyleKorean.
  • Located inside The Outlets at Orange, Moida features a curated selection of bestselling products from StyleKorean's portfolio.
  • All new hires are subject to a 90-day introductory period.
  • This introductory period does not alter the at-will nature of employment.

Compensation

  • $15 - $18.00 per hour (DOE)
  • Compensation is determined based on relevant education, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and business needs.
  • Additional compensation opportunities may include performance-based incentives where applicable and in accordance with company policy and wage and hour laws.
  • Mon-Thu: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
  • Fri-Sat: 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM
  • Tentative Store Hours
