Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Masters or PhD degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent STEM degree
  • Proficiency in back-testing, simulation, and statistical techniques (auto-regression, auto-correlation and Principal Component Analysis)
  • Familiarity with signal generation and statistical models
  • Working knowledge of Linux and familiarity with SQL
  • 3-7 years experience in the financial industry (experience in quantitative trading is preferred but not a requirement)
  • A strong background in STEM
  • Solid data-mining and analysis skills, including experience dealing with a large amount of data/tick data
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Anticipated New York annual base salary range $120,000-200,000, plus eligible for discretionary bonus

Compensation

  • Anticipated New York annual base salary range $120,000-200,000, plus eligible for discretionary bonus
