Responsibilities
- Consistently implement and maintain quality control and safety procedures during material handling, cutting, and welding.
- Keep the shop area clean and free from debris to maintain a safe working environment.
- We maintain a drug free workplace.
Requirements
- Candidates must be able to regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and maintain balance.
- You must be able to occasionally move objects in excess of 30 lbs.
- Perform all duties required to ensure the department meets project expectations and deadlines.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be willing to work towards obtaining a 3G Welding certificate.
- The ability to read, interpret, and apply information from specifications, diagrams, and procedure manuals.
Skills
- Demonstrated basic experience in power tool operation, or related hands-on areas, is a plus.
- The ability to apply geometric, algebraic and fraction mathematical calculations for accurate cutting and fitting.
- Be able to read a tape measure.
- Certification Commitment: Must be willing to work towards obtaining a 3G Welding certificate.
- Technical Literacy: The ability to read, interpret, and apply information from specifications, diagrams, and procedure manuals.
