About the role

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Senior Solutions Architect - Cloud Native / CaaS to join our Global Presales Organization, reporting to the Senior Director, Presales.
  • The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on engineering expertise with strong customer-facing presales skills and the ability to take a solution from concept through architecture, proof-of-concept, demonstration, and production adoption.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for both technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on experience developing automation using technologies such as Python, Go, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, APIs, or similar tools.
  • Experience developing automation frameworks for cloud migration, workload migration, or infrastructure transformation.
  • We've achieved recent 5G milestones including the world's first successful 5G data session with Verizon and building one of the largest Open RAN networks in the world with Vodafone.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture, systems engineering, cloud architecture, technical consulting, presales, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cloud-as-a-Service (CaaS) and cloud-native technologies.
  • Willingness to travel globally to support strategic customer engagements when required.

Skills

  • Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes and container technologies.
  • Strong understanding of storage technologies, distributed systems, and persistent storage for cloud-native workloads.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native networking and Kubernetes networking concepts.
  • Strong understanding of hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud architectures.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, technical writing, and customer-facing skills.
