- The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Otolaryngology has an exciting opportunity for a full time Speech Pathologist 1 to work in Miami, FL.
- The Speech Pathologist 1 (H) assesses and treats individuals referred with speech, language, voice, and/or swallowing disorders and impairments.

- Master's Degree in relevant field

- Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
- Commitment to the University's core values.
- Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with various informal and standardized motor speech, language, and cognitive assessment tools is required.
- Maintaining a caseload of speech, voice, and swallowing therapy patients with diverse diagnoses is required.
- Experience performing and interpreting modified barium swallow studies is required.
- Experience performing and interpreting flexible endoscopic evaluations of swallowing is preferred.
- Familiarity with the use of augmentative and alternative communication devices is preferred.
- Familiarity with the application of tracheostomy speaking valves is preferred.
