About the role

Silvus Technologies is seeking an RF Test Engineer who will report to the Director of RF Engineering on the RF Engineering team.
The successful individual in this role will actively participate in all aspects of the testing of RF hardware for Silvus' StreamCaster MANET product line.
This position is 100% onsite Monday through Friday at our office located in Rancho Bernardo, North San Diego CA.

Design test fixtures and calibrate test equipment.

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of relevant multi-GHz RF hardware test experience.
Must be a U.S. Person (permanent resident or citizen) due to U.S. government contracts.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do the following:
NOTE - As a US Federal Contractor, Silvus Technologies requires that ALL candidates being considered for employment for any position (regardless of level) MUST be a U.S. Person (permanent resident or citizen).
Stricter U.S. Citizen ONLY requirements (needed for some Engineering or R&D roles) will be included in the Required Qualifications section of the posted position.

Knowledge of RF guidelines for PCB layout.
Test automation using Python or LabView.
Able to work independently and work on several projects concurrently.
Detail-oriented and a firm commitment to quality.
Problem-solving, data analysis, deductive reasoning, and critical thinking skills.

The pay range is NOT a guarantee. It is based on market research and peer data, and will vary depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
$100,000 - $140,000 USD
