About the role
- By leveraging expertise in content automation, presentation design, automation tools, and emerging technologies, the Content Enablement Senior Consultant - Seismic enhances efficiency, consistency, and quality in content delivery across the organization.
- The Content Enablement Senior Consultant - Seismic is responsible for content automation strategy, developing, implementing, and maintaining innovative automated solutions to streamline the creation of presentation slides and templates, ensuring alignment with brand standards and organizational needs.
- This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Global Presentation Solutions (GPS), Global Product, SAIG, Product Ownership and Global Information Technology (GIT), to identify opportunities for workflow automation, maintain template libraries, and provide training and support for automated systems.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product, Technology, and platform owners (e.g., Seismic/M365) to integrate source-of-truth data and content repositories into automated slide generation workflows.
- Drive change management for new automation capabilities Ownership and GIT.
- Develop and implement automated solutions for generating content slides and presentation templates using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Seismic, working in collaboration with Global Presentations Solutions (GPS), Global Product, Product.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and identify opportunities for automation in slide and template creation workflows.
- In accordance with MFS Brand Guidelines, provide oversight for designing visually appealing and consistent templates that support various presentation needs.
- Maintain and update template libraries, ensuring accessibility and relevance for different departments and projects. Provide training and support to team members on utilizing automated slide and template systems.
- Working in collaboration with Product Owners and GIT Agile Teams, will develop a governance model to ensure a consistent process for enhancements of new Slide Library capabilities and templates.
- 6-8+ years of proven experience in presentation design and template creation, preferably with automation tools.
- Experience in developing automation strategy and designing content architectures for reuse (modular components, content models, metadata/taxonomy, and lifecycle management) to support automated assembly.
- Strong analytical skills to define instruments and interpret KPIs for content operations and automation performance; uses insights to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of workflow automation concepts and platforms (e.g., templating engines, content management systems, APIs/integrations) and how they enable scalable content production.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other automation platforms.
- Strong understanding of branding, visual communication, and layout principles.
- Strong knowledge of Agile Methodology, roles, and process.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- Experience in defining and executing content automation strategies preferred.
- Experience with content management systems, such as Seismic, and cloud collaboration tools preferred.
- Management experience preferred but not required.
- Preferred knowledge of scripting languages for automation (e.g., VBA, Python).
- Familiarity with workflow automation tools preferred, such as Workfront and/or M365.
- Background in training or user support for digital tools preferred but not required.
Compensation
- MFS contributes an amount equal to 15% of your base salary to your retirement account that is separate from the company -sponsored 401(k)
- $98,500.00 - $141,500.00This position is eligible for competitive incentive bonus.
