Requirements

  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a strategy, management consulting or leadership role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
  • Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with project management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and collaboration software (e.g., Teams, Zoom).

Nice to have

  • Vet industry experience, direct experience in the veterinary industry whether in clinical practice, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, or related fields is highly valued.

Compensation

  • The Target Pay Range for this position is $169,884 - $212,355 annually.

  • Strategic Planning and Analysis
  • Drive strategic decision making through data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate with leadership and Strategy team to set and drive organizational vision, strategy, and key initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to support strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with divisional goals.
  • Responsible for building financial models and performing valuations to assess strategic opportunities, support decision-making, and quantify potential value creation.
  • Act as a sounding board for the leadership team in decision-making, offering critical insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, competitor performance, and operational data to inform decision-making.
  • Translate strategic vision into actionable plans, working closely with the LT.
  • Partner with the Strategy team on key processes including strategic planning (IVCP, AEP, etc.), reporting to key Mars stakeholders, and internal leaders.
  • Strategic Initiatives Execution & Management
  • Oversee management of global strategic initiatives agenda, including tracking of progress and key performance metrics to ensure projects are executed efficiently.
  • Manage select special projects from concept to completion, often involving multiple teams and functions.
  • Serve as a point of contact between the leadership team and key stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
