Responsibilities

  • Support or lead player-driven initiatives, collaborating with Basketball Operations and management teams.
  • Work with Partnerships to integrate community components into partner activations and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
  • Directly manage Managers, Interns, and shared staff resources
  • set expectations, workflows, and priorities for the team while providing mentorship, coaching, and development opportunities to build future leaders.
  • Support the Brooklyn Nets & New York Liberty Foundation operations, including program alignment.

  • Establish and maintain tracking tools to measure program reach, effectiveness, community feedback, and organizational impact.
  • Oversee preparation of monthly, seasonal and year-end recaps for internal stakeholders, league offices, partners, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to balance oversight with hands-on execution in fast-paced, lean environments with high expectations.

Nice to have

  • Experience in sports/entertainment highly preferred.
  • Experience with player programs and navigating athlete-facing dynamics preferred.

Compensation

  • $100,000 - $125,000 base salary
  • Work alongside the VP to develop the multi-year community impact vision and annual strategic plan for Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment and its.
