About the role

  • These supervisory positions are located in Grand Canyon National Park, in the Visitor and Resource Protection Division.
  • The North Rim position will be on the South Rim at first due to Dragon Bravo fire until the incumbent can move back up and will be expected to travel quite a bit.
  • Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience.

Requirements

  • a valid driver's license is required.
  • You will be required to submit a Motor Vehicle Operator's License and Driving Record.
  • You may be required to complete training and operate a four-wheel drive vehicle.
  • Prior to appointment, you must be determined physically fit by an authorized government physician to perform strenuous and physically demanding duties
  • Occupancy of government quarters is required.
  • All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement-08/19/2026-unless otherwise stated in this vacancy announcement.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age - AND - To qualify at the GS-12 grade level, applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
