Responsibilities

  • The Automations Engineering Internship Program is designed to offer interns business and technical exposure to core elements of the cybersecurity discipline, including:
  • Developing secure infrastructure to strengthen security operations and compliance management capabilities

Requirements

  • Desire and ability to learn quickly, a great attitude, and good work ethic. To be considered for this internship, the candidate must be currently serving in the United States military, be eligible for the SkillBridge program, seeking an associate, bachelor, or master's degree in cybersecurity, computer engineering, or a related discipline, and have had exposure to core information security functions, including network and application vulnerability testing, role-based access control (RBAC), security information and event management, and/or computer incident management. To be successful, a candidate must be proficient in systems/security engineering and networking, and have at least two years of information technology experience and exposure to three or more of the following security technologies:
  • Power BI, Monday experience

Skills

  • Debian or Fedora-based operating systems
  • Familiarity with Git, SDLC, CICD processes
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, etc.
  • Network Engineering, to include routing, switching, and firewall fundamentals
  • Proficient in ingesting security and system logs from disparate sources and formats, such as SNMP, syslog, etc.
  • Experience with managing and leveraging REST-based APIs
  • Four-year degree from an accredited college or university
  • Preferred Skills or Experience
  • Knowledge of Fortinet firewall technologies
  • Proficient in database technologies such as OpenSearch and SQL
  • Ansible, Terraform experience
  • N8n, shuffle experience

Compensation

  • $171k-$800k
