About the role
- The position is responsible for the financial reporting and accounting for Audax Private Debt based in Boston.
- The Senior Finance Associate is also a key contributor to the Private Debt valuation process and is responsible for the compliance and control processes related to several Private Debt Funds.
- Private Debt invests in debt securities of middle market companies backed by private equity sponsors via a variety of different investment vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Take a lead role with the firm's outside auditor in preparation/review of year-end audited financials
- Responsible for coaching and developing junior team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance with a CPA
- Extensive experience with Private Equity/Debt valuation

Nice to have
- 5 plus years of experience, including public accounting, preferably focusing on alternative investment asset managers
- SEC/BDC reporting and CLO experience is a plus
Compensation
- Preparation and review of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, fund level returns and investor deliverables for various Private Debt funds
- For Massachusetts: The base salary range for this position is $99,000- $155,000.

- The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting.
- An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
