About the role

  • The Associate Manufacturing Engineer will also help the team prepare for low-rate initial production (LRIP) and full rate production (FRP) at the Final Assembly Integration and Test (FAIT) Facility, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Responsibilities

  • Complete 3DX training and learn how to create an MBOM, BOP, and create work instructions
  • Complete composite bonder training and fabricate composite parts to support manufacturing trials
  • Assist in developing and executing plans for manufacturing trials
  • Learn and execute design for manufacturability (DFM), producibility analysis, and manufacturing trade studies to determine cost effective solutions to complex manufacturing technical objectives using a variety of data and analysis techniques

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering or Engineering Technologies
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio and Outlook
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, test plans, and technical procedures
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice to have

  • Some experience with 3D modeling-CATIA 3DX or V5/V6, and Delmia preferred
