Responsibilities

  • Giga Energy is seeking an experienced BIM Lead to oversee the development and integration of Building Information Models (BIM) across our data center construction portfolio.
  • The BIM Lead manages digital construction data, enforces model integrity, and drives the workflows that allow Giga's projects to be delivered with speed, accuracy, and constructability.
  • Develop, manage, and update BIM models supporting design, construction, and operational handover.
  • Conduct clash detection and lead the resolution of coordination issues using Navisworks, Revit, or equivalent tools.
  • Facilitate regular coordination meetings to review model progress, identify issues, and develop resolutions.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all internal teams and external partners.
  • Create, Implement and enforce BIM standards, protocols, naming conventions, and best practices across all projects.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage BIM Execution Plans (BEP) for each project.
  • Perform quality control checks and model audits to ensure compliance with Giga standards and project requirements.
  • Team on-sites where all offices come in-person to collaborate

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in BIM coordination and management in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, building systems, and industry standards.
  • Experience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud/ Forma Build, Revizto, or similar collaboration platforms.
  • Working knowledge of MEP systems coordination in high-density power and cooling environments.
