- HRIS ANALYST II Based on site at Rocket Lab's global headquarters in Long Beach, CA, the HRIS Analyst II will play an integral role within the Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) team.
Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and deliver insightful reports and dashboards to provide key data and business insights.
- Assist with opportunities for process automation and optimization to drive business outcomes.

- Rocket Lab is an end-to-end space company delivering responsive launch services, complete spacecraft design and manufacturing, payloads, satellite components, and more - all with the goal of opening access to space.
- The rockets and satellites we build and launch enable some of the most ambitious and vital space missions globally, supporting scientific exploration, Earth observation and missions to combat climate change, national security, and exciting new technology demonstrations.
- Our Electron rocket has become the second most frequently launched U.S. rocket annually and has delivered more than 230 satellites to orbit, all while we work to develop Neutron, our upcoming medium-lift, reusable launch vehicle for larger constellation deployment.
- Our Space Systems business designs and builds our extensive line of satellites, payloads, and their components, including spacecraft that have been selected to support NASA missions to the Moon and Mars and components used on the James Webb Space Telescope.
- Your core responsibility will be to provide HRIS solutions, support, and comprehensive analysis of HR data.
Requirements
- 2+ years' Workday HCM administration experience and bachelor's degree, or equivalent years of work experience (HS Diploma or GED, and 6+ years of work experience).
- Proven hands-on experience in business requirements gathering and solution delivery.
- Ability to travel and communicate outside of work hours.
- Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.
- A strong technical background with HR, recruitment, payroll, and collaboration tools (Workday experience is a must).
- Experience maintaining HRIS-related documentation, including solution documents and technical/functional specifications.
Nice to have
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to articulate technical concepts and establish effective working relationships at all organizational levels.
- Certification or training in Workday HCM is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, information systems, business administration or a related field.
- This position may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, computer work, and occasional exposure to moderate levels of noise, dust, and fumes in production areas.

Compensation
- $88,000 - $110,000 USD
- This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment at Rocket Lab, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.
