About the role

Fabrication Cutter - 2nd Shift Location: Calhoun, GA STARK is seeking a 2nd Shift Fabrication Cutter to join our Calhoun, GA warehouse.
In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring and cutting carpet materials according to fabrication work orders while maintaining STARK's high standards for quality and craftsmanship.
Job Responsibilities: Review Fabrication Work Orders (FWOs) and verify carpet style, color, dimensions, and cutting layout before beginning work.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company safety standards and 5S practices.
Collaborate with Fabrication, Pad Prep, and Quality Control teams to support production goals.

Requirements

Strong understanding of measuring tools, cutting techniques, and material orientation.
Ability to read and interpret work orders, diagrams, and production specifications.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
Ability to kneel, squat, bend, push, and pull up to 50 pounds multiple times per day.

Nice to have

Experience in carpet or rug cutting, flooring installation, textile manufacturing, or a related production environment preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
