About the role

  • Fabrication Cutter - 2nd Shift Location: Calhoun, GA STARK is seeking a 2nd Shift Fabrication Cutter to join our Calhoun, GA warehouse.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring and cutting carpet materials according to fabrication work orders while maintaining STARK's high standards for quality and craftsmanship.
  • Job Responsibilities: Review Fabrication Work Orders (FWOs) and verify carpet style, color, dimensions, and cutting layout before beginning work.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company safety standards and 5S practices.
  • Collaborate with Fabrication, Pad Prep, and Quality Control teams to support production goals.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of measuring tools, cutting techniques, and material orientation.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, diagrams, and production specifications.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Ability to kneel, squat, bend, push, and pull up to 50 pounds multiple times per day.

Nice to have

  • Experience in carpet or rug cutting, flooring installation, textile manufacturing, or a related production environment preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
