About the role
- Boiler Tube Company of America (BTA) is looking for a Welder-2 to join our dedicated fabrication team.
- The Welder-2 position requires a skilled professional capable of working independently on complex welding assignments, ensuring all work meets stringent safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced welding operations on boiler components including tubes, headers, waterwalls, superheaters, and economizers.
- Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.
- Train and mentor junior welders as needed to maintain high craftsmanship standards.
- Strong ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and technical documents.
