Responsibilities
- Performs all construction, carpentry and maintenance items and projects that fall under the maintenance department.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Requirements
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discrimination in sound.
- Reviews specifications and blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
- Operates and conducts routine preventive maintenance on College vehicles; notifies appropriate personnel of any vehicle maintenance required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least three (3) years of carpentry work experience required.
