Responsibilities

  • DLR Group is an integrated design firm with a promise to elevate the human experience through design.
  • The Engineering team is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead a civil engineering practice.
  • Design, coordinate and prepare site development documents, utilizing Autodesk's Civil 3D software, throughout project development on a wide variety of projects.
  • Documentation will include site layouts, horizontal and vertical control, grading and drainage, storm sewer and stormwater management design, paving, site utilities and associated civil engineering design deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 8+ years of civil engineering experience with emphasis on site development related to energy projects, buildings, utility infrastructure, mission critical, or large-scale development projects.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
  • Strong understanding of grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary infrastructure projects and leading a team of Civil Engineers.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting renewable energy, solar, battery energy storage, transmission, distribution, or utility infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with data center site development and mission critical facilities.
