About the Working Families Party The Working Families Party (WFP) is the progressive party for the multiracial working class, fighting for a nation that works for the many, not the few.

We recruit, train, and support transformational candidates up and down the ballot - and run them to win.
The RI Political Organizer is responsible for developing, executing, and iterating on a program to recruit, train, and organize WFP members and volunteer leaders to help our candidates win and our campaigns succeed.

This is full-time temporary position.
This contract will end on or around November 6, 2026.
Successful employees in temporary position may ultimately be offered a permanent position at Working Families Party.
Ability to travel locally around Rhode Island is required.
Union Affiliation Working Families Party is a unionized workplace.
This is a bargaining unit position.
WFP's union employees are represented by Workers United affiliated with SEIU and the affiliated Local 1115, Workers United.
