About the role
- Execute system tests according to established procedures, documenting results and identifying deviations or anomalies for further investigation.
- You possess strong problem-solving skills and have working knowledge utilizing problem-solving tools.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will conduct testing and verification activities and develop new testing methods to help transform engineering concepts into practical, testable solutions within the Research & Development (R&D) and Test & Verification (T&V) laboratories.
- Evaluate test outcomes and deliver detailed reports with insights on system performance, recommending improvements to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Support project teams with troubleshooting and root cause analysis, documenting findings and contributing to issue resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test objectives, scope, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality expectations.
- Support the development of new test methods, including optimizing testing approaches, creating benchtop setups, and performing measurement system analyses.
- Develop and contribute to testing solutions and equipment deployed across global Philips testing laboratories
- Create, maintain, and improve testing methods and measurement documentation, including schematics, setup diagrams, and instructions for use.
- Ability to work in a global R&D innovation environment and collaborate with Philips testing organizations in the U.S, Europe, and Asia.
Requirements
- You've acquired 2+ years of experience and/or familiarity with product development testing and verification.
- Ability to work 5 days within the office in a laboratory environment.
Nice to have
- You've acquired 2+ years of experience in the field of test and verification within a product development OR hands-on prototype testing environment is highly preferred.
Compensation
- The pay range for this position in Washington is $83,000 to $131,000

- You have a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electric, Mechanical Engineering OR equivalent combination of education and above listed experience
- Experience related to the development of and testing of medical (FDA regulated) products is a plus (ISO13485, 21CFR820).
