Responsibilities

- IMEG's mechanical engineers design HVAC and mechanical systems that enhance building performance while pushing sustainability forward
- Team specialties include advanced HVAC system design, central plants, building automation and controls, and energy recovery solutions
- IMEG's plumbing engineers design reliable and efficient systems including domestic water supply, sanitary sewer and vent, stormwater drainage, and specialty plumbing
- Teams use 3D modeling and coordination to minimize conflicts and optimize system routing before construction
- IMEG offers full-service fire protection engineering coordinated to NFPA and local building code requirements

Requirements

Nice to have
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering, and contribute to research, development, and innovation efforts within IMEG
- Prioritize safety in all aspects of engineering work and identify and mitigate potential safety risks associated with mechanical systems
- Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent required
- 7 years of experience minimum required, 8 preferred, in the building design consulting industry OR
- Associates degree, or certificate, in Building Information Modeling (BIM) or Engineering preferred
- 11 years of experience minimum required, 12 preferred, in the building design consulting or construction industry
- Advanced proficiency in design techniques, tools, and concepts involved in the production of technical plans and specifications
- Strong training, mentoring and leadership skills
